Meet Our Team

Profile for Diana
Diana
Office Manager and Client Care Relations
Diana joined San Geronimo Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2021 as a Client Service Representative. Having experienced veterinary clinics with her own cats, she recognized the love and respect Dr. Kearney and the team hold for their patients and clients, and was drawn to become part of it. Now, Diana contributes to that same standard of care with her genuine love for animals and her organized, thorough approach to her work. She lives in San Rafael with her senior cats, Chester and Gracie, and enjoys hiking, gardening, and swing dancing.

Profile for Annette
Annette
Client Care Relations
A true San Geronimo Valley local, Annette grew up riding horses through the rolling hills and backroads she still calls home. With deep roots in the community and a lifelong love of animals, she brings warmth, humor, and a steady calm to her role as Client Care Representative.
Annette shares her home with her cherished mother-daughter fox terriers, Hazel and Jinx, and working in a veterinary clinic has long been a dream come true. Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find her enjoying time with her sons, her sister, and extended family — especially during lively board-game nights that bring everyone together. Her easy going spirit and genuine kindness help make every visit feel a little more like coming home.
Profile for Cara
Cara
Veterinary Assistant
Cara has worked in the veterinary field for nearly 30 years and has been with San Geronimo Valley Veterinary Clinic for six. A lifelong animal lover, she grew up on a goat dairy farm in Petaluma and even founded a horse and donkey rescue in 2003, placing over 140 animals in new homes. After operating a childcare business out of her home while her daughters were young, Cara chose to change careers and pursue her childhood dream of working in the veterinary medical field.

At home in West Petaluma, she shares life with her husband, four full-size horses, two miniature horses, four miniature donkeys, a goat, three dogs, and a cat. She also enjoys spending time with her two daughters and three grandsons.
Profile for Charlotte
Charlotte
Certified Veterinary Assistant
Charlotte has been part of the veterinary field for over 27 years. She began her career working in every corner of a veterinary hospital—from the front desk to the kennels—and over the years has become a highly skilled vet tech. Charlotte has a special love for both cats and dogs and is especially gifted at calming even the feistiest of our kitty patients (aka 'tiny tigers'!) Charlotte’s special area of interest is in surgical support, anesthetic monitoring and patient care during procedures. Her precision, knowledge and dedication shine in this role, and her love of lifelong learning keeps her continually building on her skills and knowledge.

At home, Charlotte shares her life with spritely little dog Elliot and Draco, her big, beautiful Maine Coon cat and in her free time she enjoys long walks on the beach, fishing, photography, and crafting.

Linda
Kennel Technician/Veterinary Assistant
Linda has been with San Geronimo Valley Veterinary Clinic for over five years, where her gift for bringing calm, gentle energy helps pets feel safe during their visits. She keeps the clinic running smoothly behind the scenes by her superhuman multitasking skills - jumping in where ever she is needed — stocking drawers, unwrapping and wrapping supplies, keeping everything organized and clean, and caring for the animals in our hospital.

Born and raised in Marin, Linda has always been surrounded by animals and brings that lifelong love to her work. In her free time, she enjoys the beach, movies, laughter with friends, and time with her beloved cat, Smoky.

Jeannie speaks a special language called QuickBooks, keeping everything squared away with precision. Jeannie is not only skilled and reliable, but also kind, sweet, and dedicated. She has a deep love for animals and lives in the San Geronimo Valley, surrounded by dogs, cats, and the wildlife of the surrounding hills. Her long history with the clinic makes her an invaluable and longstanding member of our team.
