My name is Kelle Kearney, and I’m the owner and veterinarian at the San Geronimo Valley Veterinary Clinic, an independently owned practice located in the heart of beautiful Lagunitas, California.

Caring for animals has been a part of who I am since childhood. That early love for animals led me to pursue a life in veterinary medicine, where I now combine clinical expertise with a deeply personal, hands-on approach. Because my practice is independently owned, I’m able to offer something I believe is increasingly rare: family-style veterinary care, where each pet is treated like one of our own and every client is known by name.

At the clinic, I provide a full range of services, including medical, dental and surgical care, as well as complementary therapies like acupuncture. I believe in a holistic approach to animal wellness—balancing modern diagnostics and treatment with supportive care that considers the whole patient.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, horseback riding, spending time in my garden and relaxing with friends and family.

Living in West Marin and working in the San Geronimo Valley allows me to stay connected to the natural beauty and strong community values that inspire the way I care for animals. 

My name is Dr. Patricia Kalinichenko, Dr. Patty preferred, and I was raised in Mundelein, Illinois, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2012. After gaining valuable clinical experience, I went on to receive my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

I discovered my passion for veterinary medicine during college and quickly committed to building a career in the field. I’m excited to provide compassionate care to small animals and exotic companion pets in the Marin area—no matter how small—and to be part of the dedicated team at San Geronimo Valley Veterinary Clinic.

Currently, I live in San Rafael with my partner, Aaron, a fellow Marin-area veterinarian. Our home is happily shared with 2–3 dogs (depending on the day)—Ms. Maple Pancakes, JoJo, and Lily—as well as two cats, Finn and Thomas, and their Flemish Giant rabbit. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, baking, crafting, gardening, and playing video games.
